PURPOSE: To obtain a bobbin winder capable of operating securely with which troubles can be determined at a sight by providing an operation panel at a hopper mechanism, and providing a display, a setting switch, etc., in this operation panel.

CONSTITUTION: A bobbin 7 supplied from a hopper mechanism is supported at an end part of an arm installing plate moved by a pulse motor to be sent to a yarn winding part, where a movable shaft feed screw 51 is rotated by rotation of movable shaft pulse motor, and a movable shaft 47 is moved by it. The bobbin 7 is held between a follower shaft 36 moved by this movable shift 47 and a main shaft 29 rotated by a main shaft motor, and by rotation of the main shaft motor, yarn is wound around the bobbin 7, then after completion of yarn winding, the bobbin 7 is dropped to a bobbin discharge mechanism. The bobbin 7 is held by a gate member, a yarn cutting solenoid 59 is actuated in this condition, an opened cutter is closed to cut yarn, the gate member is opened, and the bobbin 7 having yarn is discharged to a bobbin receiving box.
