To allow walking while controlling a body by detecting paces and calorie consumption from a pitch while walking at a comfortable speed, and detecting changes in heartbeat rate during walk for pitch correction.
With a pendulum sensor comprising a pendulum and piezo element, etc., a comfortable walk pitch is calculated from the paces counted with a leg's action and walking time, an appropriate walk pitch corrected to a motion level is converted to an impact/vibration electric stimulus which is sensed with a skin, with which each user walks to the set pitch. The paces, the motion period, and the calorie consumption are calculated and the amount of exercise is displayed on a display part. A walk pitch selection based on a heart rate may be built in as well. Here, a target heart rate is calculated from the heart rate measurement result measured with a pulse sensor, and if the measured heart rate is out of a target heart-rate range, the pitch is decreased or increased. The calorie consumption, the motion period, and body fat decrease amount, etc., are displayed for the amount of exercise.
