Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify assembly of a body frame.
SOLUTION: Lateral main frames 6 are put in casting molds, and a cross member 7 for connecting these main frames 6 is cast. At the same time, insert cast parts 8 continuously integrated with both ends of the cross member 7 are formed to insert cast the peripheries of the intermediate parts of the lateral main frames 6. Stays 10, 11, 12 are integrally formed at the insert cast parts 8, and a stay 13 is integrally formed at the cross member 7. The insert cast part 8 and the main frame 6 are connected and reinforced by a connecting- reinforcing part 9 so as to regulate axial movement. The side face of the main frame 6 is formed in tapered faces 16, 17 tapered in a pattern drawing direction and brought into close contact with the mold face at the time of casting so as to prevent intermixture of air.
