Title:
BODY HEAT REMOVING DEVICE FOR SPACE SUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04266600
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the increase of the bodily temperature of an organism wearing a space suit.

CONSTITUTION: A hydrogen storage alloy 5 having a heat accumulating function, an accumulator 6 for a closed container containing the hydrogen storage alloy 5, and a radiating part 7 having a radiation function and positioned facing a space P are arranged to a space suit or a base part with which the space suit is equipped. A body heat is transmitted to the radiating part 7 through water in a water passage 20a and the radiating part 7 emits heat. Further, the hydrogen storage alloy 5 dissociates and heat absorbs hydrogen within the accumulator 6 to cool the water passage 20b. This constitution cools water fed to the cooling underwear of the space suit.
