Abstract:
To provide a body pressure dispersing mat having superior body pressure dispersing property, being effective on decubitus prevention, having superior durability and being suitable for the mat for an operating table, in particular.
This mat comprises a gel viscoelastic body and a film covering it. This body pressure dispersing mat is characterized in that the viscoelastic body has the thickness of 5-30 mm and 25% compressive stress of 10-60 kPa, and the film has the thickness of 0.05-0.2 mm, its tensile strength of 50-200 MPa, an elongation percentage of 400-1,000 %, and tear strength of ≥100 N/m.
