Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body reinforcement device that can be attached to various vehicles and various attachment portions with a simple and inexpensive configuration without deteriorating the external appearance.SOLUTION: One end part of a rod member 20 is accommodated in a housing 10 connected to one bracket BR1, and the other end part thereof is connected to the other bracket. An energizing mechanism 30 which applies an energizing force against a force for expanding and contracting an axial distance between both brackets and constitutes a rigidity adjustment mechanism is interposed between one end part of the rod member 20 and the housing 10. Furthermore, a friction mechanism 40 for pressing in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the rod member 20 is accommodated in the housing 10. The friction mechanism comprises an annular spring member 41 which has a plurality of projections formed evenly over the entire circumference and is formed so that the side constituting apexes of the projections becomes an outer peripheral surface, and in which the outer peripheral surface energizes an inside surface of the housing in a pressing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
