Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body support tracking device capable of easily performing balance check.SOLUTION: A body support tracking device 1 includes: a placement unit 3 for placing a body part; an arm unit 5 having joints 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, and 41 for supporting the placement unit; brake units 53, 55, 57, 59, and 61 for restricting motions of the joints; a brake setting unit for setting an operation state of the brake units; energization units 63, 65 and 67 for energizing the joints; a shape detection unit for detecting the shape of the arm unit; a brake control unit for actuating the brake units when it is detected that the shape of the arm unit is a reference shape in a state that the brake units are not actuated; a shape change detection unit for cancelling the actuation of the brake units and detecting a shape change in the arm unit; and a balance determination unit for determining the propriety of the balance between the arm unit and the placement unit using the detected shape change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
