To develop a body washing device for washing a body when an elderly person requiring a care, or the like, remains lying on a bed or for effectively washing a part of the body in the state of halvely wearing clothes.

This device consists of a water jetting nozzle for jetting washing water to the skin surface of a body, a washing adapter having a vacuum port for recovering water used for washing after being jetted toward the skin from the water jetting nozzle, a pump for making the vacuum port formed at the washing adapter to have negative pressure and for jetting pressured water from the water jetting nozzle, a washing water tank for enclosing the washing water for jetting from the water jetting nozzle by the driving force of the pump, and a washing device body provided with a recovery tank for recovering the water used for washing, which is sucked from the vacuum port.
