Abstract:
To provide a body weight measuring apparatus for a patient that can easily measure the weight of the patient, especially for a patient suffering from an advanced disease, with a simple operation.
Pressure in an air mat 1 is gradually decreased, under a state with the patient 3 being retained by the air mat 1, by opening a solenoid valve 7 to discharge air. The weight of the patient 3 is determined, based on the internal pressure of the mat under the balanced state between the internal pressure of the air mat 1 and the load applied to the air mat 1 which includes the patient 3.
