To improve a technique for measuring body weight.SOLUTION: A body weight measuring method includes the steps of: recording, in a storage device, a first detection result detected by a load sensor for detecting a load at least applied on a toilet seat before a user sits on the toilet seat of a toilet bowl device 10; acquiring a second detection result detected by the load sensor while the user is seated on the toilet seat; and based on the acquired second detection result and the first detection result stored in the storage device, calculating weight of the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
