Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body capable of sustaining a link between a steering hanger beam and a vehicle apparatus in a case of a collision of a vehicle, and contributing to reduction of a manufacture cost.SOLUTION: A vehicle body includes a beam 22 that extends in a vehicle width direction, is coupled to left and right front side panels, and supports a steering column, and a support member 34 that is disposed behind an air conditioner 26 in the vehicle and links a vehicle apparatus 33 to the beam 22. The support member 34 includes a front side body 35 that is fixed to the beam 22 and linked to the vehicle apparatus 33 from the front, and a buffer 36 that is coupled to the front side body 35, is interposed between the front side body 35 and air conditioner 26, and catches contact of the air conditioner 26 when the air conditioner 26 recedes backward in the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
