The oil tub 3 is structured such that the centroid G2 in the state of storing the cooking oil A moves in front and back directions by the increase / decrease of a cooking oil storage amount, its front and back ends 3f and 3g are freely swingably disposed so as to be swung in a vertical direction, and it is swung from a heating impossible posture B to a heating possible posture C by the passing of the centroid through the center position of the swing accompanying the increase of the cooking oil storage amount. The switch SW2 detects the postures B and C of the toil tub 3, is turned to an OFF state when the oil tub 3 is in the heating impossible posture B and is turned to an ON state when the oil tub 3 is in the heating possible posture C.
