PURPOSE: To provide an eggshell cracker capable of developing cracks on a boiled eggshell and also usable as a vessel for a boiled egg.

CONSTITUTION: The body 10 of this eggshell cracker is made of a resilient and elastic synthetic resin and has one opening 11 and a peripheral side surface 12. One notch 16 is provided from the opening 11 toward the bottom 13. The inner surface of the peripheral side surface 12 is provided with metallic projections 20 from the opening 11 toward the bottom 13. The peripheral side surface 12 on both sides of the notch 16 are furnished with thumbpieces 22, 22, respectively. When applying force to the thumbpieces 22, 22 so as to mutually draw, the gap of the notch 16 gets narrower, resulting in contracting the circumferential length. Thereby, the projections 20 develop cracks on the boiled eggshell.
