PURPOSE: To prevent boiled rice form abosrbing soup or sauce of green tea and swelling and to suppress the deterioration of taste, by putting a solid soup consisting of a sauce set by an edible solid material to be liquefied by heating and green tea, and boiled rice in a container successively.
CONSTITUTION: The solid soup 2 wherein a soup consisting of soup stock and sauce of green tea is set by an edible solid material to be liquefied by heating is put in the container 1. The boiled rice 3 is placed on the solid soup 2, and, if necessary, the ingredient 4, e.g., cod roe, salmon, laver, etc. is put on the boiled rice 3. A suitable cover is placed on the container 1 to give voiled rice with tea poured on it to be prepared instantly. The skin 5 consisting of an edible solid material to be liquefied by heating can be put between the solid soup 2 and the boiled rice 3. A paper or ceramic container which has been subjected to waterproof treatment may be used, but an aluminum container is preferable. Agar, gelatin, etc. melting at about 40°C can be used as the edible solid material to be liquefied by heating, and gelatin is preferable.
