To provide a boiler structure comprising a swirl melting furnace capable of recovering heat even at a connecting portion of the swirl melting furnace and a secondary combustion chamber, and being easily constructed with low manufacturing costs.
The secondary combustion chamber 4 of m-gonal cross-sectional shape (m≥4), is connected with an upper part of the swirl melting furnace having a circular cross-sectional shape through the connecting portion 3, a water tube wall composed of a plurality of boiler tubes 10 is buried in a side wall of the secondary combustion chamber 4, the boiler tubes 10 of the secondary combustion chamber 4 extend to at least a part of the connecting portion 3, and the boiler tubes 10 positioned at the connecting portion 3, configurates a polygonal water tube wall structure having the number of sides more than that of the m-gonal shape, and has the polygonal pyramid shape of which a diameter is reduced toward the swirl melting furnace 2.
