Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water wall tube overheat damage diagnostic apparatus capable of diagnosing damage based on overheat caused by particulate hematite scale porous and low in thermal conductivity in a wide range with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An overheat damage diagnostic apparatus for diagnosing overheat damage caused by particulate hematite scale adhering to the interior of the boiler water tube 1 on which a feedwater combined water treatment method is implemented to a boiler water tube 1, comprises measuring a surface temperature of the boiler water tube 1 or membrane bars 3 integrally connected to the boiler water tube 1 using a thermography instrument 4 from outside of a furnace so as to diagnose the overheat damage to the boiler water tube 1.
