To provide a bollard which enables a covering member to be easily detached from a column member according to need, and which enables the covering member and the column member to be relatively displaced with ease from each other when a vehicle and the like collide with the bollard.

The bollard 1 is equipped with the covering member 4 for covering an outer peripheral surface of the column member 2 which is erected on ground; the covering member 4 is equipped with a plurality of covering member constituting portions 14 which are stacked in a vertical direction, and a spacer portion 18 which is interposed between the covering member constituting portions 14 adjacent to each other; the covering member constituting portion 14, which is made of an elastic material, is provided with a plurality of void portions 22 which are arranged around a column member insertion hole 20 for inserting the column member 2; the dimension of the outside diameter of the spacer portion 18 is set less than that of the outside diameter of the covering member constituting portion 14; and the dimension of the inside diameter of the spacer portion 18 is set less than that of the inside diameter of the covering member constituting portion 14.
