Title:
BOLOMETER TYPE INFRARED DETECTOR HAVING HYSTERESIS AND DRIVE METHOD OF THE INFRARED DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3874077
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolometer infrared detector having hysteresis for giving the degree of freedom in drive conditions without giving an upper limit to a bias voltage for increasing responsibility, and to provide a method for driving the infrared detector.
SOLUTION: In the bolometer type infrared detector having hysteresis, the temperature in the diaphragm in the detector is set to a low-temperature side region without any hysteresis by a temperature controller, and the temperature in the diaphragm is shifted to a temperature range having a large resistance temperature coefficient and hysteresis due to temperature increase due to Joule heat when reading signal by applying a pulse bias, thus providing a method for driving the bolometer infrared sensor with high sensitivity.
