Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable shaft force of a bolt and prevent lowering of shaft force according to external force load by reversing the bolt by an angle which is more than the angle corresponding to shaft direction external force applied to the bolt in a direction that the shaft force of the bolt is increased in the use state, after the bolt is once fastened up to the plasticity area.
SOLUTION: When a cylinder block 11 and a cylinder head 2 are fastened to a bearing cap 6 with bolts 8..., shaft force of the bolt 8 is lowered by reversing the bolt 8 after the bolts 8... are once fastened up to the plasticity area. At this time, the reversing angle of the bolt 8 is set to an angle which is more than the angle corresponding to shaft direction external force applied to the bolt 8 in a direction in which shaft force of the bolt 8 is increased in the use state. Thus, stable shaft force can be obtained, regardless of influence due to a gasket and dispersion of coefficients of friction on the bearing surface and the screw surface of the bolt 8. Plastic elongation generated in the bolt 8 can be prevented even if shaft direction external force caused by a difference of coefficients of thermal expansion is applied to the bolt 8 in the use state.
