To provide a bolt fastening structure for a vehicle that can realize both of a high anti-theft effect and enough workability during maintenance, etc. of the vehicle.
A fastening bolt 16 comprises a thread part 20 which is screwed to a transmission case 14; a polygonal part 22 with a polygonal profile section; and a fastening tool engagement part 24 to be engaged with a fastening tool 27 from an axial direction. A bracket 12 comprises a bolt hole 46 to be inserted by the thread part 20 of the fastening bolt 16; a bolt accommodation part 42 accommodating the polygonal part 22 of the fastening bolt 16 and being opened in a direction opposite to the bolt hole 46; and an opening 44 formed lateral to the bolt accommodation part 42 for allowing an unfastening tool 50, which is engaged with the polygonal part 22, to be inserted and rotated by the unfastening tool 50 for unfastening the fastening bolt 16. Furthermore, in a state that the fastening bolt 16 is fastened, a residual part 56 of a shear bolt 52 prevents the engagement of the fastening tool 27 with the tool engagement part 24.
