Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt for mounting a suspension member on a car body to prevent the occurrence of the strain of a mounting surface during welding of a flange part and improve a strength of joining between a reinforcing plate and a flange part mounting surface and provide a method for mounting the suspension member on the car body.
SOLUTION: A mounting bolt has a screw part 3a to fix a suspension member to one end side of a shaft part and a screw part 36 fixed on the car body side is arranged on the other end side. A peripherally expanding flange part 2 welded to the car body side is arranged midway of the shaft part. A protrusion 22 for welding protruding to the weld surface side at one end in the axial direction of the flange part 2 is formed on the peripheral surface of the flange part 2.
