Abstract:

To provide a hinge stay for a storage, enabling a bolt or a pin to be reliably fixed to a mounting member without welding and making the bolt, etc., hard to cut with a cutter for iron, scissors, a saw, etc., and the bolt or the pin appropriate for use for the hinge stay.

In the bolt or the pin, a locking part comprising a screw, a hole, etc., is formed in a press fit part 4 pressed for fixation into the mounting hole of the mounting member 2 and an insertion part 7 inserted into a member, such as a storage body or a door; and at least one groove 9 whereinto the section of the mounting member 2 bites is formed in the peripheral direction on the outer peripheral surface of the press fit part 4. The bolt or the pin undergoes thermal refinement treatment, and the vicinity of the insertion part 7 and the press fit part 4 is subjected to high-frequency quenching.
