Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt tester capable of measuring axial force of a bolt with high accuracy without any influence of expansion and shrinkage due to temperature of operating fluid, and simplifying the work after the completion of measurement.
SOLUTION: This bolt tester is provided with an oil chamber 5 for operating fluid formed by a cylinder 2 and a piston 4, and a seating surface plate 7 fixed to the cylinder 2 opposite to the piston 4, wherein a bolt B is passed between the piston 4 and the seating surface plate 7, a nut N engaged with the bolt B to butt on the seating surface plate 7 is fastened, and the pressure of the operating fluid in the oil chamber 5 is detected to lead out the fastening force of the bolt B. The bolt tester is provided with a pressure release valve 10 communicating with the oil chamber 5 and adapted to release the pressure of the operating fluid in the oil chamber 5 by opening the passage.
