To provide a core wire for joining, a joining tool, a lead wire, a woven fabric and their manufacturing methods that can efficiently join seam felts for paper manufacturing even if the loop diameter for joining is large.SOLUTION: In this invention, a core wire for joining 10C is used by inserting it through communication holes 50 provided at both ends 3 and 4 of a papermaking woven fabric 1a having ends, and includes a loop-shaped fiber bundle 11. A joining tool includes the core wire 10C for joining and a lead wire. The papermaking woven fabric with seams is provided with a core wire 10C for joining inserted into a communication hole 50 with the papermaking woven fabric having ends. The joining method of this invention includes a communication hole forming step; a drawing step of forming a state in which the other end of the loop-shaped fiber bundle is exposed outside the other end of the communication hole; a replacing step of replacing the lead wire with a second auxiliary core wire; and a drawing back step of drawing the loop-shaped fiber bundle back to one end side of the communication hole to form a state in which the front end of the second auxiliary core wire is drawn into the communication hole.
