Abstract:
To provide a joint material capable of forming a joint part having excellent joint strength and corrosion resistance in the joint of an aluminum-containing member with a metallic component, and to provide a joint structure using the joint material.SOLUTION: A joint material of aluminum-containing member includes: metallic particles (A) having a solidus temperature of 450°C or less and including aluminum; metallic particles (B) having a melting point of 450°C or more and forming an alloy phase (α) having the solidus temperature of 450°C or more by being alloyed with the metallic particle (A); and an activator (D) removing a surface oxide film on the metallic particles (A) and (B) at a temperature of 300°C or more but 450°C or less. From the components of the metallic particle (A) and activator (D) of the joint material, and the surface oxide of the aluminum-containing member, a metallic oxide glass having a softening point of 400°C or less is formed at a temperature of 300°C or more but 400°C or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
