Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation of a panel or the like by disposing a metal fitting at the appropriate place of a glass panel through a pair of space members, and boring plural slits in this fitting so as to cure an adhesive by heating.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of space members 2 formed of resin, rubber, or the like are disposed parallelly at the peripheral edge part of a glass panel 1, and a metal fitting 3 made of aluminum is disposed on the space members 2. Hot-setting sag-type silicone rubber adhesive 4 is filled in an approximately rectangular cylindrical space formed by the glass panel 1, the space members 2 and the fitting 3. Flexure by deformation is thereby suppressed to prevent the distortion of the reflected image of the glass panel.
