Title:
BONDING METHOD BETWEEN INSTEP COVER OF SHOE AND LOWER PERIPHERAL RUBBER TAPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08112109
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the bonding strength between the instep cover of a shoe and the lower peripheral rubber tape by obtaining a kneaded material in which polychloroprene rubber and natural rubber have been kneaded in a specific ratio, and then, after this kneaded material has been dissolved in a solvent for obtaining a solution of a specific viscosity, by applying this solution to the lower peripheral part of the instep cover of a shoe so as to be heated, and by pressedly vulcanizing an unvulcanized rubber tape on this applied surface.

CONSTITUTION: When a surface-treated instep cover of a shoe and a lower peripheral rubber tape are bonded by polytetrafluoroethylene, 80 to 20 parts by weight of polychloroprene rubber whose crystallization is large when the polymerization temperature, is 20°C or less, and 20 to 80 parts by weight of natural rubber are kneaded, and a rubber kneaded material is obtained by mixing the raw kneaded rubber with a compounding agent. The rubber kneaded material is dissolved by a solvent so that the viscosity becomes 1000 to 5000cp. To this solution, thiophosphoric acidotoris (P-isocyanatephenylester) solution is added. The solution is applied to the lower peripheral part of the instep cover of the shoe and then is heated. An unvulcanized rubber tape activated by a solvent is pressedly brought into contact with the treated solution applied surface, and vulcanizing is carried out by hot air.
