To bond a lens of lighting fixture to its housing within a short period of time, by applying a two-liquid mixing type bonding agent containing a temperature-sensitive catalyst to a joint part of the housing and/or the lens, and by heat-hardening it within a short period of time by irradiating near infrared rays.
A main agent is packed in a resin vessel 30 and a hardening agent is packed in a resin vessel 32. The main agent, via a supply line 36, and meanwhile the hardening agent, via a supply line 38, respectively, are supplied to a mixer 40. Then, they are mixed by the mixer 40 and a bonding agent is prepared. The prepared two-liquid mixing type bonding agent is discharged from the mixer 40 and applied to a groove part 20 formed in a flange 18 of a housing 14. Then, the housing 14 and a lens 16 are combined together such that a joint part of the lens 16 is inserted in the groove part 20, and are joined so as to press against each other. Nextly, the bonding agent is heated within a short period of time to a predetermined temperature and hardened by applying near infrared rays to the joint part where the bonding agent is packed in a yet-to-be-hardened state, and lighting fixture is thereby manufactured.
