Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and accurately grasp what caused a consumer to purchase a commodity and how the consumer feels the article by outputting a questionnaire corresponding to the commodity to the consumer who bought the commodity and collecting its answer.
CONSTITUTION: This POS terminal device is provided newly with a questionnaire input/output device 18, a questionnaire question storage RAM 19, a questionnaire answer storage RAM 20, a questionnaire question item file 23, and a questionnaire answer result file 24. When the commodity code of the commodity is read out, the commodity name and price are obtained from a PLU file 21 on the basis of the commodity code as a key and retrieval is carried out to find whether or not a corresponding questionnaire is present in the questionnaire file 23. When the questionnaire is present, the commodity name and questionnaire contents are stored in a questionnaire question storage RAM 19 and once the commodity is read or after data are stored in the RAM 19 up to a specific amount, the stored commodity names and the contents of questionnaires are edited and outputted. Consequently, the questionnaires corresponding to commodities that consumers have purchased are gathered.
