To provide a bone fastener which achieves intensified and improved flexibility pertaining to a stabilizer containing rod elements.
The bone fastener 14 contains a receiving part 4 for receiving a rod-like implant element and the receiving part does the first bore extended from the first end part of the receiving part coaxially with a long-sized shaft and a recessed part 44 extended from the first end part to accomplish the insertion of the rod-like implant element. The fastener further contains a bone screw 2 having a threaded part for insertion into bones and a fixing element 8 given to the first bore for fixing a rigid part of the rod-like implant element. The rigid part of the rod-like implant element has the first width while the recessed part of the receiving part has the second width and the second width is made larger than the first width. As a result, the recessed part can house a step part of the rod-type implant element with an increased thickness.
