To provide a bone joint material and a bone joint material set, capable of enhancing the substitution and regeneration of a living bone, reducing the period for bone adhesion at the joint position, and restoring the living bone without leaving a cavity.
The bone joint material is composed of a dense complex made of biodegradable/bioabsorbable polymers including bioabsorbable and bioactive bioceramic powder. Holes 1b and 5b bored on the center line of bone joint material bodies (a screw 1 and a pin 5) are filled with a filling material 2 impregnated with a biological bone growth factor composed of a porous complex made of the polymers, or the holes of the bone joint material bodies are filled with a filling material without impregnation of the biological bone growth factor. The bone joint material set is the combination of the bone joint material body with the filling material and the bone growth factor, or the combination of the bone joint material body, the filling material and the bone growth factor, or the combination of the bone joint material body and the bone growth factor-impregnated filling material, or the combination of the bone joint material body and the filling material without impregnation of the bone growth factor. The bone growth factor reduces the period for bone adhesion, and the bioceramic power facilitates substitution for the living bone.
