Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase housing capacity in a cabinet and to promote the natural convection and to prevent temperature rise in the cabinet by arranging a drying means which enables moisture discharge and regenerating treatment through heating a desiccating agent on the side wall of the cabinet so as not to be projected into the cabinet.
CONSTITUTION: A drying unit 11, an IC timer 12 and a humidity controller are fitted to the back plate 22 of a closed type cabinet whose front is freely opened and closed by a door 21. The drying unit 11 is equipped to the cabinet by fitting the front wall 100a of a protective case 100 so as to be partially plunged into a fitting hole 22a opened in the back plate 22 of the cabinet. A desiccating agent 120 in which hexangular holes are formed in parallel is put in a drying treatment chamber 102. Heating wires are inserted into the hexangular holes and electric current is applied to a heating element 122 and the heating element is allowed to generate heat. The desiccating agent 120 is heated and regenerated. The IC timer 12 is equipped in the vicinity of the desiccating agent 120 in the side swelling part of the protective case 100 and energization of the heating element is controlled.
