To adjust a size of a cover part according to a thickness of a matrial to be bound for a book by a method wherein information is enabled to be copied on the cover by enabling the cover to pass through a copying machine.
A fold 4 is formed on a border between a front cover part 1 and a rear cover part 2, and a rear cover part 3 longer than the front cover part 1 is extended on the rear cover. An inserting direction into a copy machine and indication 5 of a surface are applied to the rear cover part 3. Thereby the cover is enabled to pass through the copy machine, and information can be copied on the cover. Further, the rear cover part is cut according to a thickness of a material to be bound for a book, and a size of the book can be adjusted.
