Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the recovery of jamming without damaging the precision of transfer voltage control by providing a control means controlling a carrying system so that a form does not pass a transfer roller during the transfer voltage control and automatically ejecting the form.
CONSTITUTION: When a power source is supplied, a resist sensor 13 reads the presence of a paper, and when the paper is absent, a photosensitive drum 1 and a paper carrying system are driven, to execute the transfer voltage control. When the paper is present, an automatic paper ejecting mode is obtained, to drive the paper carrying system, the form existing on the location of the resist sensor 13 is carried to the downstream side, and simultaneously, a timer is set. The timer has enough time for allowing the form to reach a paper ejecting sensor 14 from the resist sensor 13, and when the paper ejecting sensor 14 does not have the presence of the paper up to the completion of the counting of the timer, processing as the jamming is executed. When the form passes and the presence of the paper is obtained, the transfer voltage control is executed.
