To provide a file which is convenient for storing and carrying sheets and also for making an entry in the sheet at a place other than on the top of a desk and further, prevents a pad for making an entry from being soiled or scratched.

This file is structured of a pad on which the sheet is placed and a fold connecting means for making the pad foldable back using the intermediate line of a book cover as an axis. Thus, the pad can be kept in place inside the file with the pad or can be replicated outwardly. When an entry is made in the sheet, the pad is folded back to the outside and the sheet is placed on the pad to make the entry.
