To provide a book cover which can contain sheet papers firmly without those sheets being overabundant regarding a book cover of a type which partitions pages into one to permit free browsing and another to regulate in such books as comic books displayed in book stores.
A sheet-type book cover 11 covering a front cover 18, a spine cover 19 and a back cover 20 of a book 17, and the book cover 11 has its front cover section 12, spine cover section 13 and back cover section 14 continuously formed, and the predetermined width of the end portion of the front cover section 12 is folded back and forms a folded strip 15, and the folded strip 15, while having an insertion section 21 at the edge side of the front cover 18, has its upper end portion 22 and lower end portion 23 pasted with upper end portion and lower end portion of the front cover section 12 respectively, and the end portion of the back cover section 14 has its predetermined width folded to continuously form the folded section 16, and the upper section 24 and the lower section 25 of the folded section 16 has the strip sections 26, 27 respectively of a predetermined length continuously formed, and the double-face tapes 28, 29 are attached on the inner surface and/or the outer surface of at least one strip section 26.
