To provide a book cover which suitably covers a book, is easily and simply installed to the book, and also easily removable.

The book cover has a body A 1 having a pocket 5 for receiving a front cover and a body B 2 having a pocket 8 for receiving a back cover. A connection part 9 formed in the body A integrally penetrates a penetration hole 10 formed at a side of the body B and also slides by a thickness adjustment width T, so that a cover total length L is variable and corresponds to the thickness of a different book. Members 12a and 12b are stoppers, limit a variable range, and also prevent the separation of the body A and the body B. The end of the connection part 9 is received in the pocket 8.
