The book jacket 10 includes: a horizontally long book jacket body 11 covering the book 20; a bag portion 13 that is disposed at one end of the book jacket body 11 and into which one side 21 of back and front jackets of the book 20 is inserted; and a plurality of bands 12a, 12b that are disposed at the other end of the book jacket body 11 and fixed the other side 22 of the back and front jackets of the book 20.
