PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book original image reading/forming device which can designate in a single action the copying of all pages or the pages following a certain page of a book original by adding an 'all-page' input means to a copy page setting input operation part to designate the copying of all pages of the book original.
SOLUTION: An 'all-page' input mode is set at a copy page setting input operation part of a book original image reading/ forming device (copying device). A user pushes a copy page setting key 99-3 to set input modes on all pages of a book original and confirms this setting operation by the lighting of a page setting selection display LED 99-3c. Then the user instructs the copying device to start copying of the book original. Thus, the copying device repeats the copying and page turn-over actions of the book original and detects the final page to stop its work. Therefore, it's possible to eliminate complication of the copying operation procedure that causes the setting trouble and difficulty of copy pages when all pages or the pages following a certain page of the book original are copied.
