Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book protective cover capable of protecting inexpensively a book such as a book for actual use or a picture book whose content needs to be seen, and being aligned always in a clean state in a bookstore, a book with the cover mounted thereon, and a method for producing a book with the protective cover.SOLUTION: A book protective cover, equipped with a heat-shrinkable film and a non-heat-shrinkable sheet, has a front cover jacketing part that covers the front cover of a book, a shelfback cover jacketing part which jackets a shelfback cover of the book, a back cover jacketing part that covers the back cover of the book, a front cover folded piece part folded back to the inside of the front cover jacketing part and a back cover folded piece part folded back to the inside of the back cover jacketing part. The heat-shrinkable film is bonded to the non-heat-shrinkable sheet in at least a part of the front cover jacketing part, the back cover jacketing part, the front cover folded piece part and the back cover folded piece part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
