Abstract:
To provide a system capable of reducing a load of a sorting work of books manufactured by a digital printing machine by using a manufacture instruction form on which books having the same manufacturing specifications are collected.SOLUTION: A book sorting system 1 contains a sorting shelf 11, in which a light emitting element 111 is provided for each shelf frame 110, and a sorting management device 10. The sorting management device 10 comprises sorting management means 100 for executing shipping code acquisition processing for acquiring a shipping code from a shipping task list 13, shipping task information acquisition processing for acquiring shipping task information from a production management system 15, book code acquisition processing for acquiring a book code from a book 12, and sorting instruction processing for determining the shelf frame 110 for storing the book 12 whose book code is read so as to associate the shelf frame 110 with the shipping code and lighting the light emitting element corresponding to the shelf frame 110 and further storing the book code in association with the shelf frame 110, in a procedure according to a sorting work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
