Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic adjustment of positioning of a cover at a binding position where the cover and a book body are bound.SOLUTION: A bookbinding apparatus comprises: a conveyance unit 60 for conveying a cover g one by one in a conveying direction X and stopping the cover at a binding position B where the cover g and a book body P are bound; a positioning unit 3 for positioning the cover g stopped at the binding position B; an imaging unit 61 for imaging an actual position of a mark M provided on the cover g; a storage unit for storing a reference position of the mark M; and a calculation unit for calculating a deviation amount between the actual position and the reference position of the mark. Before the cover g stops at the binding position B, the imaging unit 61 images the actual position of the mark M. Then, the calculation unit calculates a deviation amount, and the positioning unit 3 is adjusted based on the deviation amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
