To provide a bookbinding body, permitting mounting of a decorative board changeably and having three-dimensional heavy feeling, and the method for manufacturing the same.

A bookbinding body is constituted of a front surface side body a, manufactured by superposing and bonding an elastic frame member produced by laminating a thin paper 2' on a core plate 1 and producing a recessed place 3 in the frame member while covering the core frame body by an interior member, provided with a decorative plate mounting unit, and an exterior member, a rear side body b, constituted of a core plate 2 covered by the interior member and the exterior member, both of which are screwed so as to be openable through a screwing unit 7, while forming an opening unit 3' in the recessed place 3 of the front side body 1 so that a frame with a given width remains in the recessed place 3 of the front side body a and mounting a decorative plate c on the rear side of the opening unit 3' so as to be changeable. Accordingly, the bookbinding body is provided with three- dimensional heavy feeling and good finish whereby the commodity value can be increased inexpensively. The bookbinding body can be used as the front paper of a book, an album or the like or a holder for pinching greeting card, a sheet of paper or the like, on which various letters and printings such as a telegram for congratulation or consolation and the like are applied. On the other hand, the bookbinding body can be utilized as a stand or a display for decorating a table or the like and the same is manufactured simply and correctly.
