Abstract:
To make bookends which are made by bending plates usable as a bookstand as well, and create a convenient article having two functions by one unit.
Two hooks 2 are provided on a bookend body 1 so that a book can be engaged, and a shape with which the book being engaged can be read when the bookend body 1 is laid down is formed. A leg 3 having an anti-slip rubber 4 is provided to impart stability to prevent the bookend body 1 from falling down when the book is engaged as a bookstand. Also, the leg is made rotatable and foldable so that the leg may not become an obstacle when being used as the bookend. Thus, the bookend can be easily used as the bookstand, and the bookend has two functions as a single unit, and becomes more convenient.
