To provide a book holder on which a book can securely be kept opening as it was set, the pages can be turned easily and it is easy to read the next page too.

The book holder comprises a stand part 1, a book holding part 2 attached to an end of the arm part 1c and enabled to change the angle easily, a holding pin 3 which stands in the center of the bottom plate 2b of the book holder 2 and a pair of page locks 4. Each page lock 4 comprises a small lock arm 4a, a roller 4b which is attached to the end of the arm and can turn and move easily and a base part 4c holding the small lock arm 4a, and the base part 4c is attached to an extended plate 2c6 which is set in an assist back plate part 2c of the book holding part 2. The base part 4c involves a waved structure which has spring operation and can hold the small lock arm 4a rising and falling. The outer face of the roller 4b is structured flat and smooth.
