Abstract:

To execute a retry operation having a high recovery rate to improve a command success rate even when a conveyance jam of booklets such as a passbook occurs.SOLUTION: A booklet conveyance device includes a conveyance unit, a measurement unit, a calculation unit, a storage unit and a setting unit. The conveyance unit conveys booklets on a conveyance path on the basis of monitoring conveyance according to a command. The measurement unit starts measurement of a lapse time in response to reception of the command. The calculation unit calculates a residual time to a time-out time obtained by subtracting the current lapse time from a time-out time corresponding to the command when the monitoring conveyance is started. The storage unit stores a retry processing content of the conveyance unit, which is different for each residual time zone. The setting unit reads the retry processing content corresponding to the residual time zone including the residual time calculated by the calculation unit from the storage unit, and sets the read retry processing content to the monitoring conveyance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
