To provide a booklet medium handling device which performs a stable pushing up of bankbooks even when there is unevenness in the thickness or condition of bankbooks.

A pusher body 110 is supported by a spring 130 consisting of a compressive coil spring. The turning motion of a shaft 190 is transmitted to a pusher guide 120 and the pusher body 110 through the spring 130 which is intervened between the pusher guide 120 and the pusher body 110. The pusher comes into contact with a bankbook which becomes a pushing up object under a state of being advanced from a carrying surface. In this case, if a specified load or higher is applied to the pusher body 110, the turning amount of the pusher body 110 is limited more than the turning amount of the shaft 190 and the pusher guide 120 by the elastic deformation (compression) of the spring 130.
