Abstract:
To provide a booklet page turning apparatus and a booklet reader with a page turning mechanism which quickly can turn pages of a book without the double feed.
A double feed detection part 46 which includes a wave transmission section 46a and a wave reception section 46b is attached facing to each other on the opposing shafts 15a of a page turning member 15, and when a page 90d is picked up by the opposing shafts 15a the double feed of page 90d is detected. By way of this operation the double feed is avoided and the pages 90a of a booklet 90 is quickly turned over.
