Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booklet printer that appropriately sets a magnetic stripe reading position without performing a complicated correction, and eliminates useless collation.SOLUTION: The booklet printer reading magnetic information attached to a booklet and printing out predetermined information is configured to comprise: an insertion part that receives insertion of a booklet; a transportation part that transports the inserted booklet to a reading position of the magnetic information; a reading part that reads the magnetic information attached to the booklet transported to the reading position; a driver part that moves the reading part in a width direction of the magnetic information; and an analysis part that repeats position determination processing for setting the reading position of the magnetic information at a certain position in a longitudinal direction of the magnetic information on the basis of a value of an output signal acquired by the reading part driven by the driver part at a certain position in the longitudinal direction to thereby determine the reading position of the magnetic information in the booklet printer.
