To provide booklet processing equipment which can eliminate sagging of inner paper by an inexpensive constitution.
A printer for printing information in a bankbook 1 has a heat roller for transferring information, printed on an intermediate transfer ribbon, onto an opened page of the bankbook 1. A driven roller is pressed and arranged on a carrying roller for carrying the bankbook 1 to a transfer position, via a carrying passage. When the bankbook 1 gets into a nip between the carrying roller and the driven roller, the sagging sometimes occurs in the inner paper of the bankbook 1. In a sagging eliminating roller 13' for eliminating the sagging, a rotating shaft 61 is equipped with a one-way clutch 63 and a torque limiter 64. When the bankbook 1 is carried in the direction of an arrow T2, the roller 13' applies torque to the opened page of the bankbook 1, and functions to pull the opened page from a seam.
